The only redeeming factor anymore with the NEW KISS is maybe the deep cuts they pull out 20 yrs to late, this year we got some pretty good ones..It was cool but Ace & PETER are needed not just ACE! BTW for those who don't know Ace was in fact invited to go on this Kruise & declined!

The NEW KISS- what is really NEW about them?

In the glory days of  Kiss 1974-1979 fans got a new album every year & every year there was a new tour to support that album. Better yet every year KISS debut NEW costumes! Between 1974 & 1979 the Original Kiss put out 7 Studio Records & had 5 Distinct Costume Changes. In  the 1980's KISS  took off their Make-Up and were very successful until 1996 when they reunited, which lasted 7 years give or take with some bumbs in the road for sure. That brings 2003, The Farewell tour was over & Kiss went out With 3 Original Members to do The Symphony & World Domination tour . The tour came to a close at the end of 2003 & at that time KISS was reduced back to just 2 original members Gene & Paul. Peter Criss Stated in an interview that Kiss simply did not renew his contract & he was told from Paul Stanley and I quote " We want to start a NEW KISS!!. (Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, Tommy Thayer, Gene Simmons) Let us take a look at what this NEW KISS Looks like just for shits and giggles?  Here we go:                                                                                                                                                    KISS - 2004-2007 Kiss Wore the 1975 Alive Costumes of course with no NEW album to support the NEW KISS they became a touring act.  Most of the public doesn't realize that Ace Frehley & Peter Criss are no longer in the Picture at this point! The NEW KISS sure looks & sounds a lot like the OLD KISS!!!
This was simply a move to have two new players pretend to be Ace & Peter so they could continue a good thing. The NEW KISS came up with several different tour names during this time, Rock the Nation, Rising Sun, Hit & Run, & Alive 35 Celebrating 35 years of KISS.

KISS 2008- The NEW KISS Goes out in their 1976 Destroyer Costumes AGAIN no new album to support this!

 

KISS 2009-FInally After the release of their last studio album Psycho Circus in 1998, It takes  KISS 11 years to put out another New LP SONIC BOOM. Finally a New Tour & New Costumes Follow! Things do not change again until 2012.

KISS 2012-2017- KISS Makes Moderate changes to their costumes in 2012, there wont be another change for 5 years.  In 2012 Kiss releases their 2nd studio album with the NEW KISS called Monster This will be the bands 2nd studio album since 1998. KISS Tours from 2012-2017. Tour names  Include -The Hottest Show on earth, Monster & the 40th Annv Tour.

 

KISS 2017- It's Been 14 yrs since Paul Started the NEW KISS. 2 albums later and a number of tours we get yet another exciting costume change...This time no new album.

The NEW KISS is now wearing their OLD 1983 Creatures of the Night costumes!

& Eric Singers Wig has never looked better.

Their last tour was called Freedom to Rock! Again no new Album. At this stage

Kiss has more tour names then albums and less costume changes.

If  KISS has one last PUNCH being that they are in their late 60's they should probably Pull it!!!

KISS Meets MR Witherspoon... The Phantom of the NEW KISS

Kiss 2014 without Make-Up This should of been The NEW Kiss & it should of began in 2004. Instead, 

They have consistently been touring with a 70's set list for the last 15 years and dress in 70's costumes but they don't make records, so let's call it for what it is guys DEAL WITH IT! They are just a Touring Retro Act of themselves riding the coat tails of Ace & Peters Image so they can sell it. !! There was 2 things they could of done better one No make -up but have the Logo and Pyro just like in the 80's .(wouldn't of made as much $ but so what do they really need anymore?)

They also could of created 2 new characters which would of been the best move , look at how much everyone loves Creatures !! (Risks ) I doubt it would of failed Fans would of embraced it big time.

But KISS is no Longer dangerous Rock & Roll, they like to play everything safe & that's just not rock & roll that's just good business.
