Planet CHH Gives it to you straight

 

A woman goes to a psychic named Omar (played by Dukey Flyswatter aka Michael Sonye, who looks like he’s having a great time being this character),to find out where her husband is. Her husband happens to have passed and starts communicating with her. I enjoyed this scene a lot.

Next we meet geeky sorority sisters Melody (Linnea Quigley), Marci (Brinke Steven’s) and Overweight Mickey (Michelle Bauer) spending another boring day at home, except Marci just got back from a garage sale. While going through her treasures, we find a crystal ball, which belonged to Omar(now deceased). The girls decide that they want to something fun like throwing a party and inviting the geeky fraternity boys. The frat boys are all in, but when the popular frat boys find out, they lock the geeky guys in their room. But, the guys escape and go to party down. After playing Twister, they decide to have a seance using Omar’s crystal ball. While everyone is partying, the popular guys find out that the geeks have escaped and decide to spy on them. While spying, the crystal ball lights up and a succubus demon possesses the girls and turns them into gorgeous, naked (except for their undies) sexy visions with pointy teeth. The demon girls want to seduce the guys and kill them for their souls. But, the other guys decide to kidnap the geeks and have the girls to themselves. Big mistake, because the vixen kill them. The kidnapped guy decides to look through the yellow pages for an exorcist. Since it’s after midnight, the exorcist charges them time and a half. Anyway, the exorcist gets to work and exorcises the succubus out of the girls. The succubus looks like a hanging ghost you would find at a discount store at Halloween time. They then have to smash Omar’s crystal ball to rid the world of the demon. They then play Twister, after the exorcist goes to his next job.

Director David DeCoteau is known for fun low budget, cheesy and playful horror. He doesn’t disappoint with his direction of this film.

Kenneth J. Hall, the screenwriter, brings us intentionally over the top dialogue and over the top scenarios.

The actors seem to be having fun with their exaggerated acting. The girls are fun and provocative.

The music is from the Haunted Garage, the punk band led by Dukey Flyswatter (Omar). It fits in well with this movie.

Nightmare Sisters is best enjoyed as a fun, tongue-in-cheek experience-an over the top horror flick full of cheesy effects, campy humor, and bizarre twists. It’s perfect for viewers who appreciate cult classics, enjoy nostalgic films from the 80s or just want a light hearted, entertaining romp with a touch of the absurd. If you are into serious horror, then this isn’t a movie for you.

The film follows Cole, a timid and awkward 12 year old Cole. Cole is a target of bullies because of his timid nature. Cole is deeply infatuated with his cool babysitter Bee. While Cole’s parents are out of town, Bee and Cole are having a light-hearted teenage fantasy, doing the coolest things. That night, Cole stays up to spy on Bee and her friends, as suggested by his friend Melanie. What he sees turns his dream day into a nightmare. Bee and her friends are part of a satanic cult and have sinister intentions. First they kill a guy that comes to their little party. Then they take some of Cole’s blood. When the pure blood is mixed with a dead person’s blood, your wishes come true. The rest of the film has the cult trying to capture Cole.

Mcg, the writer and director of The Babysitter, expertly balances the horror and the comedy elements throughout the film. His ability to maintain a brisk pace that ensures the film remains exciting and engaging without losing its comedic edge. This keeps the audience on their toes.

The cast is amazing. Samara Weaving delivers a standout performance as Bee. Her ability to embody both the innocent and sinister aspects of Bee contributes significantly to the film’s tension and humor. Judah Lewis portrays Cole. His performance captures the essence of a young adolescent grappling with insecurities and bravery as he navigates the chaos unleashed by Bee and the cult.

The Babysitter is a uniquely entertaining film that blends horror and comedy in an engaging way. It promises to be an enjoyable viewing experience. Whether you’re a fan of horror, comedy or simply looking for something fun to watch, The Babysitter will not disappoint.

This film picks up 2 years after the first film. It picks up with Cole trying to move on from the chaotic happenings from the first film. He becomes friends with Phoebe (Jenna Ortega). Together they fight the cult from the first film, hoping to get Cole’s pure blood, leading to a series of outrageous and bloody encounters.

Mcg , again is at the helm as director and writer. He again has created a fun, exciting film.

The characters and actors come back from the first film. This time having Jenna Ortega joining the cast as Coles friend and love interest.

If you enjoyed the original The Babysitter, you’ll likely find Killer Queen to be a wild, entertaining ride that doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s a guilty pleasure filled with chaos, comedy and horror.

Winnie the pooh II Blood & Honey

Teenage loner Eddie Weinbauer (Marc Price, Family Ties) is constantly bullied by the jocks at his high school, including Tim Hainey (Doug Savant, Melrose Place). The only thing that gives Eddie relief is his love of heavy metal. His favorite performer is Sammi Curr (Tony Fields, A Chorus Line), an infamous local musician who became a superstar, and Eddie takes it hard when he learns that Sammi has died in a mysterious fire.

Eddie’s friend Nuke (Gene Simmons, KISS), a local radio DJ and friend of Sammi’s, comforts the grieving Eddie by handing him a demo record of Sammi’s unreleased upcoming album. When Eddie gets home, he puts the record on the turntable and plays it in reverse, revealing a personal message for Eddie that at first gives him some relief from the bullies at school. But Sammi’s messages soon take a dark turn. Is his idol using him to get revenge against those who tortured him at the same high school years earlier? Can Eddie say “no” to his heavy metal hero or will Sammi have to come out of the speakers to finish the job?

The Covenant 2000 new synapse films Best demonic comedy

 This is an amazing Demonic comedy Horror gorefest. I loved this movie, it stars adianne Barbeau who plays a cool bad ass leather clad chick who just dominates the screen and is so perfect for this film, People continue to wanna see the place where demonic stuff takes place in this amazing Horror thrille that leaves yopu wanting more hightly eccomend this one!

Killers 1997 Synapse Films

 If Pulp fiction was a horror movie it would be Killers directed by Mike Mendez this is a cool and fun flick. The movie follows two Killers wearing the coolest make-up like a Horrific version of Kiss or the joker this film does not dissapoint & I would absolutely recommend picking up the new blu ray elease on Synapse

This film was very entertaining and deals with a woman who is doing the bidding of The Club which is a satanic entity.  This is a must see directed by Wes Craven
