The Block island sound

On December 10th, Synapse Films unleashes The Block Island Sound from directors Kevin and Matthew McManus on 4K UHD and Blu-ray.

Strange things are happening on the remote Block Island Sound. Harry (Chris Sheffield, The Maze Runner) notices that his father Tom (Neville Archambault, Solomon Grundy) is starting to act very differently, becoming forgetful and angry, and taking his fishing boat out in the middle of the night. It’s also alarming that birds and fish have been dying around the island. Harry’s marine biologist sister Audry (Michaela McManus, Into the Grizzly Maze, TV's The Orville) arrives on the island to investigate the wildlife deaths for the Environmental Protection Agency. She brings along her daughter to enjoy island life with her family. Audry’s research exposes chilling truths about the strange occurrences in the area and her family. Are the unimaginable calamities being caused by man’s interference, nature running amok, or something beyond?

Emmy nominated writer/producers Kevin and Matthew McManus (American Vandal, Cobra Kai) created a potent blend of ecological and cosmic horror in The Block Island Sound.
4K UHD and Blu-ray special features for The Block Island Sound include audio commentary with directors Kevin McManus and Matthew McManus, behind-the-scenes featurettes about the production, McManus Family Home Movies, and the original trailer. The 4K UHD also includes a limited-edition slipcover.

1973-75 When Kiss was Dangerous VOL 1-The Demons Of Rock & Roll Are Here... Lock Up Your Daughters Here comes KISS!

I
(Above Kiss in 1975 a band who obviously was not trying to appeal to Kids)

The year was 1973 & Alice Cooper was on top of the Rock World touring the Billion Dollar Babies Album, The King of Shock Rock, or as he was once quoted as saying Rocks first villan. I remember as a Kid trying to convince my fellow kiss fan friends that they were influenced by Alice but they wanted no part of it. This all changed when Ace Frehley was interviewed and told a story about Seeing Alice Cooper with Paul Stanley & they had the idea if there is One Alice why can't there be four? The idea Kiss would be four guys in Make up was born Four Rock Villans. Kiss set out to conquer the world but in the beginning it was about being the biggest rock band in the world a band that had a great show. in 1974 Kiss released their first self titled album and did an appearance on the Mike Douglas show in which Gene referenced the audience as necks that looked appetizing Gene was a Vampire Bat & really just a Member of Kiss, Then we had The Lover Paul Stanley, Space Ace & Peter Criss The Catman. All through those earlier years in which Kiss released 3 Studio albums & One Live Album they were dubbed The Demons Of Rock & Roll, Alice was Rocks Only Villan & Kiss were Rocks first Demons! Kiss self titled LP, Hotter then Hell & Dressed to Kill are the bands first 3 studio albums but it is the show that breaks out the band & leads to their 5th release Kiss Alive. When Kiss Alive came out in Late 1975 Paul Stanley was quoted as saying it was like a slot machine "You pull the lever & all the fruit lines up! We explore this in our next article "When Kiss was dangerous Part II Coming Soon!

Kiss tricked us!! & It was fantaastic!

Kiss released their follow up to Dynasty in 1980 and this was a time when most of the early 70's fans had checked out, this actually began with Destroyer for the real early fans , but it was the Toys, Solos, and just puberty that most likely caused some to temporally grow out of the band, BUT we still didn't know what they looked like & that still peaked a kids interest regardless. It was rumored that on the inside of this record was a poster & that poster would show them Unmasked But did it? What fun it still was,,, As Kiss mania was taken over Australia , and Europe we Spend June/July exploring the fun of Kiss in 1980.

Kiss Fans Become Divided & the original four release their autobiographies ! It's the End of Paul's Voice!

Before 2004 when Kiss decided they would hire two members in the band to pretend to be Ace Frehley & Peter Criss the fans were united & everyone had nothing but respect for the original four The ones that started it all Paul .Gene Ace & Peter, the heavy metal Beatles, but all this changed once The band put out their autobiographies it became more clear the fans were divided. A huge percent begin to take the side of Paul Stanley using talking points from his book to justify why they love the new line up even more then the original? This is unheard of & never happens in most circles. I mean would any Beatles fan prefer They Kept going with two guys Posing as two original guys? I highly doubt it, To make it even a bigger slap in the face Kiss starts to have the imposters play original songs by the people they are pretending to be as KISS begins to try & re-write history. Personally I prefer the Real thing. Paul Stanley's book being the worst of the four Stanley does nothing but shit on the bands original members & legacy, although now that he can't sing he gives himself a pass & tells the fans to put on Kiss Alive if you want to hear him when he was good, He is so bad that they are going to be lip syncing on their End of the Road Tour more news on that later Stay Tuned Folks!

Lovely Paul Does he ever have anything good to say?
